Shifrah Devorah Witt Shifrah Devorah Witt, MFA in creative writing, is an award-winning writer, writing coach. and a certified therapist. She is the author of four books and has been teaching creative writing, coaching writers on how to reach their goals and their manuscripts and writing process, as well as writing to heal for over 20 years. Miriam Zakon has had the good fortune, and the zechus, of being involved in Jewish publishing for decades, working as an editor, translator, and writer. She is the creator of the B.Y. Times, Baker’s Dozen and Gemarakup series, translated the Tzenah U’Renah, and founded Horizons, one of the first magazines for Jewish women. Her novel Freefall was serialized in Family First and then released in book form. She is the acquisitions editor for ArtScroll/Mesorah Publications and is currently writing Fallout, a serialized novel and sequel to Freefall appearing in Family First. She is also fortunate in being a neighbor and close friend of Tamar Ansh!

Tamar Ansh is the director of the JWWS and the author of eight books, as well as numerous articles in Mishpacha, the Jewish Press, the OU, HamodiaBinah, and Kosher.com. Her most recent release is Let’s Get Bentching! for children. Tamar’s best-seller book, A Taste of Challah, is now a challah demo business, the Jerusalem Challah Experience, giving tour groups, Neshei’s, bat mitzvahs and family events an inside look at the mitzvah and the hands-on magic of challah.

Jonathan (Yonoson) Rosenblum has published approximately 2,500 columns and longer essays in a wide range of venues, both secular and religious. His writings have been published in the Jerusalem PostThe CommentaryMoment, the Jewish Week, and in virtually every Orthodox weekly or monthly publication, including a weekly column in Mishpacha magazine for nearly 20 years. In addition, he has written seven biographies of major Torah leaders and co-authored a memoir with Lieutenant Meyer Birnbaum.

He is a graduate of the University of Chicago and Yale Law School, and practiced law in Chicago, followed by more than a decade of full-time yeshiva and kollel learning. He uses his secular and religious training and background to make the two poles of the Jewish world more comprehensible to one another.

Sherri Mandell’s latest book is “The Kabbalah of Writing.” She received a National Jewish Book Award in 2004 for her spiritual memoir, The Blessing of a Broken Heart, which was translated into three languages and produced as a play in Jerusalem and the U.S. She is also the author of Reaching for Comfort: What I Saw, What I Learned and How I Blew It Training as a Pastoral Counselor; The Road to Resilience: From Chaos to Celebration; Writers of the Holocaust; and two children’s picture books, The Elephant in the Sukkah and The Upside- Down Boy and the Israeli Prime Minister. A certified pastoral counselor, she is co-founder of the Koby Mandell Foundation which runs healing groups and camps for bereaved families and children.
